Just after the New Year we began cooperation with Hitachi Data Systems (now Hitachi Vantara). The Polish branch of this global organization is a center operating in Cracow since 2007 and closely cooperating with the branch in Kuala Lumpur, providing financial and accounting services for all Hitachi units in Europe and the Americas. In addition, the Krakow branch supports operations in areas such as: HR, Business Intelligence, IT and after-sales customer support.
The team overseeing the spirit of continuous improvement approached us looking for an innovative solution that would elevate employee involvement in the existing system for submitting ideas and improvements.
It began with an analysis of the company's needs and requirements to tailor the system to the specifics of the business.
Workshops were held to familiarize employees with different types of waste and encourage them to identify problems.
A pilot project was implemented in selected teams, which proved successful.
After positive results from the pilot, the application was rolled out across the company, involving 582 employees.
As a result of the implementation of Sherlock Waste, Hitachi Vantara has seen impressive results:
"Sherlock waste limited liability company" implements the project: "Expansion of products of Sherlock Waste company to foreign markets." under the contract POIR.03.03.03-02-0138/20-00 in the Operational program Intelligent Development 2014-2020, 3.3.3 Support for SMEs in the Promotion of Product Brands - GoToBrand. The aim of the project is to reach new foreign markets with the company's products, in particular the USA, UK, DAH and the Middle East. Total project value: 332,520 PLN net Total EU funding: PLN 282,642 net.
